Have been thinking about doing this job. Granted only since last weel when I bought an aerosol from Vinny Byrnes to sort out rust on top of the doors. Turned out it was just the metal strip inside the weatherstrip that was rusted.

As far as I know Medic5 had his done. Any pics of that knocking around PJ?

How difficult would this be to do. Would primer adhere to the plastic alright?

I'm not sure how they did it, but it does look well.
I'll PM you on the number of the guy who did it and he can tell you how best to approach it.
