i stopped fitting rear screens ages ago as its cheaper and easier to fit a new hood.

if your back window has gone...its a sure bet on a fixed odd the rest of your hood isnt far behind.

£130 ish for vinyl on ebay , but they are the bottom of the barrel for el cheapos

£330 mk1
£360 mk2 - with heated glass rear window

or if you supply the hood -£80 fitting

price includes brand new hood tensioner cables
For an extra £20 i can scotch guard them aswell - helps stop the dirt sticking to them and seals them

i supply the hood already on a frame , you drive in , i swap the frames over and 90 mins later you drive away with new hood and frame. Job done.

unless you give me a glass window it will be vybak - clear plastic.

i have a few mk2 rear glass screens i use on an exchange basis.
If you wanted a HRW glass on a mk1 frame - add another 75 ontop - thats only if you dont have one currently

I have a back panel with a nearly new plastic window professionally sewn in to the original mazda hood with the mazda zip. The panel colour is dark blue and not black (off a 1995 R-Limited). I swapped over to a glass window mark 2 roof. Straightforward swap if you still have the Mazda zip (has Mazda emblem on slider). Forty euro plus post or collect in Cork. John R-Ltd

prices have gone up unfortunately :( , like everywhere is doing it

mk1 mohair with vinyl is £360 supplied and fitted,
mk2 mohair with glass is £380 supplied and fitted
mk1 with glass...i dont supplu as the zips always break under the stress ( weight of the glass)

if you have a mk1 and want a glass window , you are better getting a mk2 hood and frame fitted.

some examples of my work / hoods are below

the white marks around the hood on this one are chalk and i forgot to wash them off :cyclops:
