I have a leak

Postby 83ste » Mon, 22 Nov 2010 5:55 +0000

At the beginning of September I did a trackday where I was winding the driver's side window up and down a good bit. At some point the window must have caught the rubber seal of the window frame and dragged it up out of its normal position. The seal at the top of the windowframe is now all scrunched up and I can't push it back down into its former position.

This didn't present any major problem initially but now with the recent heavy rain water has begun to pool in the driver's footwell. :(

Here's a pic of the broken seal - is this part on MX5Parts.com and can it be easily replaced? Any suggestions/help welcome!
