Might be that the rubber seals need a bit of tlc or replacement..also maybe the electric ( I assume) windows might need a bit of adjustment..Don't fool yourself into thinking that a soft top is gonna be absolutely watertight, but with a bit of maintenance you can get fairly close..there's loads of previous on this thread or on other forums..take the time to have a read and if you can get the car indoors at all in this weather, do it!! A hardtop is also an option...but the term "hen's teeth" comes to mind.....

If you take off the door trim panels there is some adjustment of the glass stops .Loosen the 2 10mm bolts near the borrom of the glass and let glass stop slightly higer up but not too high .Give me a call if you want 086 8226506 Robert

Soft top is probably shrunk a bit over the years. Looks like windows are high enough

Thanks for the reply robert can the soft top be adjusted because i take it the hood is ment to be down over the black plastic just above the window. The hood looks mint the back window isnt hazy or anything need to invest in some kat litter and a car cover and to get saving for a hard top from the uk.

Mines the very same. Id be interested in a temporary solution. Dont think the roof can be stretched to fit.
