Replacing back window on MK1

Postby gary k » Tue, 24 Mar 2015 5:58 +0000

Hi all. My drift car is lacking a back window but replacing it seems to be costly. Anybody have any suggestions on how to replace it cheaply, doesnt matter if I can see out or not. Or does anyone know if you can buy a sheet of the plastic and I'd happily just bond it. Trying to keep my budget down so all ideas welcome. Its the zip type window if that makes any difference.

If your not too fussy try a sail maker , someone in kellybegs or burtonport might know of a business' doing sails then bond it in using windscreen mastic or simple external silicone sealer and a sowing needle
