Reckon I need new ht leads

Postby leamyj » Fri, 09 Apr 2010 6:37 +0000

I developed a mis-fire, and on inspection I noticed arcing between one of the leads and the cam-cover, would new leads solve this?? Opinions please.

Def a HT lead problem. Sounds like the insulation has gone brittle and cracked
on one of the leads. You should be sorted with the new ones.

Hi John,

Some good news. How'd ya like to loose your PINK image?

Watching 'Wheeler Dealers' last night they were working on a Porsche 924 and I thought of you - yes, a good deal of the car was a lovely shade of PINK, but that didn't bother old Ed China. Paint job Ed? no way man - just some workshop compound, RED T-cut an angle grinder and a big buffer pad.
Ed was right, you want to see the finished article - so red you'd think it was a Ferrari. So there ya go John - problem solved, that's when you get out the old angle grinder etc.
