Kill Switch

After my recent scare with unwelcome visitors I began to consider the possibility of fitting a kill switch like I used to have back in the days of my Fiat 127 ( ie a wire running from the coil with an in line switch )
Is there anythingsimilar that can be fitted to the mx5 ?
For future security pm any suggestions to me as opposed to posting here YOU NEVER KNOW who is reading the posts
