A friend is looking to put a lsd into his mk1 1.6. what would be needed to put an aftermarket diff from a mk2 1.6 or 1.8 on his car?

Any advice welcome.

should be a straight swop if its a 1.6 car for a 1.6 diff? The gears unbolt and you pop in the new one AFAIR.
For a 1.8.. you'll need 1.8 half shafts, prop shaft and diff "pumpkin".
