Hello. Can anyone tell me if the filter in a 1990 Mk1 is a mesh type that can be cleaned and reused or paper that must be replaced.
Thanks.

To answer your question mate if its a standard air box with a standard filter then it will be a paper type that can't be cleaned. You may find that it has something different in there from the previous owner so best to whip of the cover and have a look before you spend any bobs on a new one.
