Posted: Sat, 21 Aug 2010 5:14 +0000look thro the fill/level hole. If you see 2 vertical worm gears with spur gears meshing them together, its a torsen type 1. If you see 2 horizontal worm gears its a torsen type 2. Stay clear of the viscous type. They are crap.
