Where does this plug go??

I know this seems stupid as the bloody wire is only a couple of inches long, but for the life of me I can't find where it goes in, maybe i'm overlooking something or it routes a different way possibly. An exact location would be very handy, car seems to run fine without it.
To say its driving me mad would be an understatement.
Thanks in advance

Don't worry about it.., when they make the wiring looms they usually incorporate all options, so it could be for something that you don't have..aircon? abs? etc.,

I was sort of thinking that alright but what put me off was I had an oil leak back there and everything was filthy yet the inside of that plug is spotless so it lead me to believ it was actually plugged in but its possible it wasn't.

thats for the oxygen sensor...4 pin on a 1.8 mk1
take a look down by the exhaust manifold and on the down pipe you should see the sensor...feel around for the wire and connect it back up

glug glug noise is usually heard after a run once you switch the engine off - new rad cap will sort it

air bubble at the back of the head or in the heater matrix? Is your heater blowing hot all the time when set to hot?

I changed the coolant pipe there, so might it be something to do with that? It is blowing hot air constant though.

Take off the rad cap, make sure the car is on level ground (or nose slightly uphill), start car and let it idle until it gets to normal temp.
If this doesn't work, I'd replace the rad cap next.
