Clutch Judder / Pistonheads

Hi, I was on Pistonheads yesterday - quiet day - and was reading there about clutch judder in MK2 / 2.5. and a post mentioned that original clutches in these can judder when hot and that there aere some replaced under warranty in the Uk at the time. Did anyone ever come across this before?. Hadnt heard about it?

Hi Len, if they were replaced under warranty there must’ve been a real problem because every dealer will say “ it must be the way you’re driving, and sorry but clutch isn’t covered under warranty “ as the easiest way out

Used to work for a different Japanese main dealer many many years ago, at times it was tough getting things done on warranty
