so car been sitting for a while and was out for a good spin yesterday. Check engine light. P1496 and P1497.... EGR Valve

I take it a good strip and a clean is the first port of call ?

If that fails im assuming ill need a new unit. Any tips on where is best to get one?

We have good used ones but clean your own out first and see what happens
