Hey joined today nice to meet you all.Got a 5 for years now and should have got around to this before now sorry!Whats the gen with the IOM run and is there something on this weekend?I drive the mk2.5 crystal blue and enjoy it as much today as the first spin I ever had in a 5 (that wasnt yesterday).Cheers

Welcome to the group (not a club). You'll soon know what I'm on about
The IoM event is currently a bit dormant within our own club, but I've been getting numerous emails from the UK & continent. I am trying to get numbers from the IoM steam packet and will post them as soon as I have them.

We started off just wanting a spin to the IoM, that turned into a major event when we got confronted with a lot of regulations from the IoM dept. of transport.
The organisation of the 'spin' was an event with a cost of approx. € 75,000 (yep, that's how big we went) but than those regulations I mentioned earlier and the fact that we would be forced to register as an official club turned us all off the idea.
So, big long story, but we're back to going for the spin.

Because all bookings are made directly with the Steam Packet I'll have to get the numbers from them. I've sent them an email last week and will chase it with a phone call tomorrow.
