Bast**ds

Forget about buying one in Ireland, unless someone has a good used one. Meathmazdaman is out of the country I believe..he breaks 5's.

check previous posts re suppliers in UK, someone who has already done this job is bound to post up some contacts also.

Again, sorry for your troubles

Cheers guys, real pain in the ass put i suppose its all part of the risk with a soft top, the one thats on her at the mo is mohair and i was looking at this one to replace mine, http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info. ... cts_id=159 . just wondering is there much of a difference in difficulty between fitting a mohair one and fitting a vinyl also my hood has glass and was thinking if i bought a hood with plastic would it be possible to put my my glass into it.

Contact Jack @ the number above, I bought my Mohair roof with plastic rear window from him a couple of years ago for around 210stlg incl postage, think he supplies glass window versions too for a bit more.

Sorry to hear what happened mine got slashed a few months ago. I didn't want to get an expensive hood in case it just got slashed again.

The best option for me was to goto Jack Smith in Swansea,

Beige Mohair top fitted for 250stg 150 euro boat over and back, 2hours of
driving. Didn't have to lift a finger yep i'm lazy.
