Clifford 650mk2 Alarm

Postby satfan54 » Sun, 31 May 2009 2:24 +0000

Hello.I bought a 1.6 roadster in May up north and have been doing work on it ever since including the installation of the above mentioned alarm. It was a poor installation to say the least but I now find that the boot is not protected when opened and would like to know if this is common or do I add it to the list of problems I already have. Opinions from anyone who has had a Clifford alarm installed would be much appreciated.
Regards.

Yup, it should be covered

"Clifford Concept 650 MKII
Clifford's best selling Thatcham category 1 approved alarm/immobiliser, the 650 comes with Dual Zone Proximity Sensing, remote controlled central locking or total closure (subject to vehicle), door boot and bonnet protection, engine immobilisation, a pair of remote controls and 120dB 15 tone battery back-up siren."

It should be easy enough to wire one in yourself if you were so inclined.

Thanks for the reply Steve. You are right in saying that I can do it myself, but for the price I paid I think the whole car should have been covered. It cant get much easier than a soft top eunos to install one of these alarms in and if you could see the standard of the installation and some dammage caused to the car, you would better understand where im comming from. Thanks once again.
