NCT passed with 2yr cert....

My beloved 5 flew through the NCT last sunday at 2pm. They were very anxious to shut up shop, even pulling down the shutters as they did the last few checks.
Also delighted to get the 2yr cert. Not sure when this 1yr cert is supposed to kick in for cars over 10 years old.?

Obviously no problems at all re the install of the chassis rails.!! Those of you who were asking about them......YES they make a huge difference to the car especially noticeable on rough/bumpy and loose surfaces.Really tightens up the car. Not sure if anyone has them fitted to a mk2 but well worth it on the mk1....!!

Always good to here mate, I got herselfs car nct last month and it also got 2 years on it, not sure why or how that came about though as it was due in April but afaik the rule change came in in Jan.
also good to here that the chassis rails are ok for nct as i have them on mine, plus one on the benefit of them, one of the best mods i did on my five

that one was a 97, nct due april, done in June, got 2 years. confused? i am

getting my 98 rav4 tested tomorrow will be interesting to see how long the cert is for
