Uploading photos

Postby Steve » Tue, 21 Aug 2012 12:45 +0000

To attach photos,
1) Scroll down below the post's entry box and you'll see a tab beside "options" called "upload attachment".
2) Click on this, then click on browse button and select your photo (try keeping the photo size fairly small, you can resize them in your paint program).
3) Click on "Add File", the file should then be listed below the post entry box.
4) To put it in your post, click the "place in-line" button. This will add a link to your photo.

Alternatively, you can upload your photos to something like photobucket/picasa/flickr, then
1) copy the photos url
2) Press the Img button above the post's entry box
3) Paste the URL between the [ img ] [ /img ] tags that appear.

Img button is here :

Hi James,

I've removed the auto-resizer it was causing problems. I'll try something similar again soon.

This is a quick test of inline attachment of one photo. This is ~631kB and 1843x922 pixels.

Edit: looks like it resized my attachment to 690x690 thus changing the aspect ratio, and hence the inline thumbnail aspect ratio was changed too.
