Holiday in southern Ireland?

Hi Fergus and thanks for the information mate!

This trip wont be until the summer of 2010 but I wanted to get some ideas and information now so I can see if it's worth the trip and start planning it. The plan is to spend a week camping and fishing for both course fish (Roach, carp etc) and a spot of fly fishing for rainbow/brown trout (not salmon). It will be a total chill out week of relaxing but we would also like to sample some of the traditional Irish pub music etc. To join in on a run with some of you guys would also be great and a bonus I think as you will obviously know the best roads and pubs for a run. I've chatted to my mate about this idea as he wanted to go to France initially and he now thinks a trip to Southern Ireland would be a better idea.
