Is there anyway we can protect against that without going over the top with subs etc .. ?
They can setup one if they like I guess.. it won't effect us too much

yep - a club with no members is not really a club.
I'm happy out here........look at the interest in the midlands run!

all we need is the sun to shine!

What about an mx5 trackday? Mazda are our partners for the race school maybe they could get mondello to lend their instructors (me included!!) for an mx5 ireland only trackday.

Easy Dave, mightn't be the right time to attack as it is now a totally different company, we don't know what their policy will be in the future

 Nice one Steve.
As I mentioned earlier, I have a senior position with this crowd http://www.penseurope.com . We are the largest mfg and supplier of promotional goods in the world. I'm sure I can get good prices and top quality stuff.
Problem is our club is very easy going (it might take ages for people to commit).
I would really need to get a solid number as to what it is we want/need and be able to depend on thos who commit to go along to stick with their word.
Our website only shows a popular selection of what we do. We kinda do everything you can think of as we have our own factories in Mexico and China.
For starters I can highly recommend these caps: http://www.penseurope.com/ie/products.asp?prod=VEN-HD-4170&UID=731164559169&headerCategory=Clothing and these Polo's: http://www.penseurope.com/ie/products.asp?prod=VEN-IS-K404&UID=731164559169&headerCategory=Clothing ...in the club colours
Let me know what we think...CloggyFUN is never a straight line!

Yeah that stuff looks good Cloggy.
I was talking to Ollie the other day and he said it would be good if Mazda gave us some branded jackets and the like.
Anything like this lying around with mx5 on it?
   Mines a xxl

 Those are really cool.
If we get those we can add some caps or poloshirts or so, ourselves.
