Will this new device affect NCT??
Do you fancy showing it off at the tech/social day on the 27th?? I know it's happening in Dublin and you're in Cork, but it would be a good excuse to test it out. :D :D

THE 'MAJOR PROJECT' HAS NOW FINALLY BEGUN
The 1st of it's type & style in Ireland, the 1st of it's colour in Ireland....
I will put up a thread for this soon and post pics etc but IT HAS ALREADY STARTED TODAY.
I have waited since July to start this PROJECT but the weather/things just held me up etc.

THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME !!!!!

But is going to take at least 3 weeks to complete.

(PS) The exhaust valve has now gotten a major rework due to clearance issues and the main exhaust pipe now has a 2.5" section welded into it using a T section, then the flange for the valve is bolted on etc.
So...the downpipe goes downwards now into a 2.5" T section which has the valve in it porting out the side.

Fergus, did you ever put the civic radiator in after? Did it fit ok on the stock supports?
I've been hovering over the "buy it now" button on this for the last few days :

That's the wrong type of Honda rad Steve. For a side-by-side mount it must be the 2" thick Honda Del Sol radiator. The 1" rads will overheat.
I haven't got the parts yet for my side-by-side upgrade.....plus 8 or 10 PSI to go with that :D
But I DO have a load of stuff to go on during the next few weeks......

hmm... not thinking side by side TBH.. just thinner so there are gaps on either side for intercooler pipes. The intercooler will stay where it is.

Might go visit a local dismantlers.. worth picking up one to experiment with if they are that price NEW..

I just heard.... something sounding like the space shuttle went through the tunnel tonight.
Some said it even left burn marks on the road in places
But, it could all be bull$hit, you know how it is with the barry boys and their wee little fart cans etc.
Then again, you can never really know these days unless you see it yourself 8)

I think there's a write up on MiataTurbo.net about that, got to be careful though as I think it has to be the 'all alloy' rad and not the one with the plastic top and end with alloy grill in the middle etc.
It may possibly be the Honda racing raditor which is all alloy...

(PS) I'm still in shock......had a bad dream.... or something....something wrong with my ears.... a 'buzzing'... dunno

I fitted front and rear red tow hooks, tidied up my gear gaitor, and fitted a deadly lights on buzzer, which can if wanted emit french police sirens and many more tacky sounds.....

the tow hooks are from here:
http://www.rennenmetal.com/proddetail.asp?prod=1330
See this MX5nutz.com thread....
http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21288&hl=
There available in a few finishes......
I think they look great...

The siren came off Ebay.... It can be programmed using the 5 micro switches on the back and the potentiometer is a volume control.
http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=370085383193
It can do car alarms, reversing siren, police sirens (if your in to that). But more importantly it does many modern car warning sounds.... eg. lights on door open, keys in ignition etc....
So it gives you plenty to choose from. Really easy fit and only cost about a tenner....It sounds much better then the 2 euro buzzer that was in the car when I bought it.
