Nothing wrong with retro, I’d love to get the original msss for mine. I wonder if whoever removed it when it was imported knew the significance of it, I’d really like to find out if the seat thumpers work A7C6F620-CBDF-4573-91E8-C8CB39DF7BDB.png

What am I missing here.....2,280,000 Yen is around €18k !! Slight expensive for a stereo, isn't it ??! I was rearranging my garage yesterday and found some older headunits. Hence the change. I also found a Ford branded radio unit from the 1980's and a Blaupunkt Stockholm that is also mid-1980's. I suspect the Blaupunkt was originally fitted in a Fiat.

Fitted a new vinyl driver seat cover in place of the existing cloth. I got a set from these guys https://www.ebay.com/itm/252401161447?ul_noapp=trueI followed this guy comprehensive guide on how to do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mi1HVCnRv0Pretty time consuming tricky job but worth the effort in the end, passenger seat to do next

Retro is fine! Funny how things come around again. I think I still have the original Clarion stereo I removed from the first MX5 I had (in the 80's). I say 'I think' I still have it, cos I know I tried to sell it years ago (on Ebay), but don't think it had any takers!

The seat looks great - it may have been tricky and time consuming, but it looks to have been worth the effort.

Those seat covers look great. I've had a tan set on my watch list for a couple of months. I'll have to order a set now after seeing yours. Great job.

That steering wheel is a beauty. Momo Prototipo ?? If mine didn't have the Nardi, I'd be all over one of those !
