Re: Things are moving onHey Ash,

Re: Things are moving onHey Fergal, latest is the timber part of the roof is done, little bit of block work being done at the minute then the roofers back to felt it tommorrow. Should be tiling next week.
I spent most of yesterday chasing out walls for the electrics. What a balls of a job that is. Here is how she looks. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3099765 "When I make a key the on position and push the button, an engine works"
Re: Things are moving onFeck its flying on!
Re: Things are moving onLovely Hurlin Ash. Looks great.
yeah have done (very small amounts of) chasing before and hated it. My sparrow arms weren't up to the task. fair play to the builder for making so much progress in an unfavourable summer
Re: Things are moving onI feel a decorating party/Waterford-minirun coming on soon

Re: Things are moving onAnd J.L. is cooking the steaks? Should be an expert after the camping weekend.

Re: Things are moving onThere's an offer no one can refuse - I expect Da Stig will be appointing you Executive - for the camping weekend and if Shadowearth decides to come along he can be your Sous - The rest of us can sit back and enjoy
Re: Things are moving onDidn't say I'd cook them to anyones liking though
Re: Things are moving onGood lot of the roof tile up today, all the chasing is done inside and all the wires have been pulled and most fixed. Scratch coat on the chimney ready for plaster and chimney pot to be fitted prior to roof being finished.
Its just over 3 months since we dug out the site. Another 3 weeks and the windows and doors will be in. 4 months to get the place water tight is not bad going now. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3099765 "When I make a key the on position and push the button, an engine works"
Re: Things are moving onNot updated this recently as been to busy with everything,
The roof is now finished The windows are all in (glass been fitted today but no pic) Glass & doors in the sitting room is in. (all windows are wood finished - they just have the plastic protecting coat on) Outside Inside looking out. The outside is all scratch coated, and details around windows and corners finished, ready for finish coat. A lot of the insulation work is done upstairs and plaster board is up. For anyone who cares we have gone with 175mm fibreglass type insulation with 30mm foil reflective insulation over the top of it which is fully sealed. Thanks for looking. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3099765 "When I make a key the on position and push the button, an engine works"
Re: Things are moving onGreat progress! In by Chrimbo?
The extra height glass over the doors is excellent.
Re: Things are moving onLooking really nice Ash. What a view!

Re: Things are moving onThat's class Ash. Really comin along now. Do like the nice big glass door alright
Re: Things are moving onWell its been 2 months since i updated this and a lot has changed.
Outside is just painting (can wait till summer!), gutters and footpaths to be sorted. Front of house Rear of house Sitting room doors On the inside all the plastering is finished, second fix of electrics and plumbing is almost done, some painting has been done, couple of the bathrooms have been done, beams fitted in the kitchen... Loads left to do but well on target for early part of next year. Kitchen celling Light fitting in sitting room Main bathroom Hall (being called the run way due to 5 spot lights along it) Main bedroom downstairs Sitting room window/doors Even looking at these some are a little out of date as things are moving on quickly. Anyway hope you enjoy, if i get a chance i will get some decent pics tomorrow and post em up.
