Jezzzzzz, i went to the Ploughing Championship today in Kilkenny and took the MX5, lovely weather for it, top down, my wee man Jack as co-pilot, tunes blasting :wink:

Great fun..........but in traffic (and man, its was chocka), we got so many looks, smiles and STARES!

Now, I know i'm a good looking guy and the chicks always loved me (and modest too

) and my son, well its in his DNA too :lol:

, but do you get this kinda attention anytimes. Like, a guy came over to me drooling over my car, asking all about it, what was it?, was it vintage? etc (clearly a donut but anyways :roll:

).......but i get this a fair bit. Just curious is it the same for you?

Yep, I've had that too..Maybe I'm an egomaniac, but I love it. This is why we love our cars...the shape just oozes style

Funny, it only happens to me in the MX5, never when I'm in the tranny. It's almost as if the ladies are only interested in blokes with nice wheels, mmmmmm......

Well I was at a meeting today, some of the lads saw me pull up "topless" into the car park in my 5 (for a change). During coffee in front of all the class, one guy says to me "So, do you Wave at all the girls as you pass them in that car", I thought for a millisecond then replied back "Well to be honest, I wave back to all the girls that wave at me, in the car", :lol:

same here... Most comment I get from little lads walking by when I'm in heavy 'down town' traffic and they'll just say: "Cool car man".
Little girl in the st5reet come running up everytime when I get home asking me if I can take them for a spin. (scary stuff)
I do get also plenty of looks from adults, but they only look after you've passed them.

I wonder what the looks will be when we get to the Isle of Man with 500+ cars. See the Isle of Man with Runs for an update.
