I always liked the 323. It was looking at those that started me looking for an mx5.

Was looking to change the car and went to a dealer advertising a red 323F. I walked around the car a few times, around the forecourt, back to the car - peering in the window, kneeling down to look along the flanks etc, saw the dealer peering at me from the portacabin...but didn't come out, so I thought "feck this" and left. Later in the week I passed a garage on the way home from work (passed it every day) and had my eye caught by a red MK1.....and that was it. Citroen ZX Aura gone - Hello MX5.

Yep, similar story here. Wanted a 323F as a company car but as I recall it was outside the budget, so I got a Civic - but in the process I was in the Mazda dealer & started to list after a MX5. Ten years or so later, I got mine!
