New "Ask Mazda" forum

Postby Steve » Fri, 03 Apr 2009 5:07 +0000

Hi folks,

We had quite a number of posts (on several topics :-) ) in reply to Niall's request for a MK1 for PR purposes.

They've agreed to logon once a week/month to give feedback on queries, comments, questions & suggestions.

One at a time now ;-)

Cheers,
Steve

I'm lost..."an opportunity" for what exactly Ash ?

Unless Mazda Ireland do 'something' to address the issues that the 'Mazda Owners' here in Ireland have concerning parts and service etc then it's just the same stuff since 1989.

Most of us get our parts from the UK or elsewhere, even you Ash.

I don't even think ANY Mazda dealership or Mazda vendor gets on the phone or email direct to Japan about a part (how many hours difference ?) unless they speak Japanese - they are onto the UK or Germany or a spurious parts dealership.

But I DO think this is an opportunity for Mazda Ireland to get back with all the 'Mazda Convertable Owners' here in Ireland and I am not saying that in a bad way at all.

Just how many of us Mx5/Eunos Roadster/Miata drivers on the road here in Ireland get 'asked' about our cars face-to-face every day ? The costs etc ? What happens if you need a new part ? Most people that have asked the question have some silly quote already and are shocked to hear what is said by US.

To be very very honest I cannot reply to people that ask me these questions that "oh yeah I get all my parts from Mazda here in Ireland". But I will if and only when that changes.

But this is a VERY good idea for Mazda Ireland, an opportunity etc for them and it could be for us drivers of Mazda cars here in Ireland, but it will have to be looked at in more detail.

I can see already that some owner(s) have posted up a question for Mazda Ireland and are getting posts from other Mx5/Eunos Roadster/Miata owners before Mazda Ireland have had a chance to reply to the original posting - that will get confusing after a while.

It should be something like :
Post a question to Mazda Ireland - get a response...then let 'whatever' happen afterwards.

EDIT -
Therefore it should be ask a question and WAIT FOR THE REPLY TO THE QUESTION FIRST before anything else is said.
A question can be asked and let them reply first :thumleft:

Oh and give them a chance guys, I only give 3 and this is my second one

"once a debate/argument has started or a question has been asked, there can be no new debaters/arguers let into the debate/argument until the question HAS BEEN FIRST ANSWERED."
