A huge thank you to Dave (Tigger) and Dave (Decay)

Postby shenab » Mon, 20 Apr 2009 5:03 +0000

Well, thanks to the above mentioned gentlemen I have just enjoyed my first non-hair-knotted-top-down-sun-shining trip in my 5!

(Tigger for the blocker and Decay for the brackets) You are truly gentlemen of the highest caliber and pints will be bought for you in Galway .. should you be there!

It's AMAZING!!!!! To all those without windblockers .. get one. It does make a difference.

Hi Sheena,
I brought the dog to the beach today and after our spin back he looked in better condition than I did! I have long hair and short of shaving my head it goes all over the place! I am intrigued...which blocker did you get and can you see through it ok?

Hi Val.. I'm sure it's this one, but got it from Tigger.

You don't actually see it much in your rear view, and I'm a shorty. I too have long hair, had it tied back on my way to have it installed by Decay and let it loose all the way home .. as I said, not a flicker. Love it!!

They are a great job, I couldn't believe how much difference they made to the wind, funny that, for a 'windblocker' it does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm heading to Traynors this afternoon (i broke my centre console with me big foot when I was fitting the new roof) so I'll have a look at the cars there & let you all know if there are any nice windblockers there.

Anybody have a centre console lid for a mk2 ??
