Hey Roleary780,

I had searched online for buying tips and advices and found somewhere a compiled list of buying tips.

I had made it into a small(ish) document so I can keep it handy and try to remember to go through all the stuff on it. It's attached so have a look. For some stuff I'm not sure do they really matter but others could have a look and maybe add their contribution to it. Might be nice to have something like this around handy.

Mazda has decided to make the MX-5 a 20th birthday present by releasing an iPhone and iPad app that aims to help you buy an Mk1 (1989-97) or Mk2 (98-2001).

The app, which works on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later, sees author Carla Crook taking a close look at all the areas of the car, showing you where to look for problems when buying an used MX-5.

Too bad there's no for Android yet.

Carla is a member of mx5nutz forum and knows her stuff on mx5s. The book is available as a hard copy from Amazon and the like. Got a copy myself, it's a nice little guide.
