What Craic.. ironically, I'm heading to an RNLI awards ceremony here in Dublin tomorrow...at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Incredible work done 24/7 all year round to keep us all safe...
Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com

Thanks lads. Had a great day at the RNLI awards in the beautiful Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Some fabulous people got some very well deserved tributes, and the fabulous veteran marine journalist and friend of the sea Tom MacSweeney was presenting, and was himself presented with an award to recognise his years of support for all things Oceanic! Niamh was great craic as always, and was very complimentary about you lot! I also got roped into a fundraiser in Skerries next month, which I'm thinking about doing if I can get fit enough. It's an Aquathon - a 750 metre swim & 4km run. I think I can handle the swim, but I haven't got my running legs yet... so I might have to persuade someone to relay with me. Will have to see if my wet-suit still fits! Anyway here's the pic.... my lovely dad's on my left, and the fabulous Tom on my right. Happy days. RNLI.jpeg

I've heard Tom Mc Sweeney on the radio for years and never knew what he looked like, It's weird when you do eventually find out and it's nothing like you imagine it to be. Teena, that's one hectic social life you appear to be enjoying lately..fair dues to ya!!
