I cant believe they destroy everything what i like in cars in the name of the environment... :x
downsizing the engines, more and more diesel shits, etc. I thought they keep the special models, but they wont. First they stopped the RX8, now this news... Mazda is the same as the others nowdays... Nothing special anymore... Look at the Hondas: big, fat family shits. Where is the old civic's, or CRX's feeling, design, speed? And the electric cars? They make more pollution during the manufacturing, than my MX5 all her life.... Ah... Shit world... :?

Aaaargh... that would be bad news.

Fiat did a nice FWD convertible in the 90's, the Barchetta. Not a bad attempt, sporty and makes all the right noises, and it goes "adequately" too. That is, up until the moment you get back into a '5 and realise how nice it is to be connected to the road.
It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world

this is just a marketing ploy to get press types interested and get coverage.
The new model is 2 years away and tbh if they hadnt decided on fwd or rwd at this stage then they are screwed.

Chances are it will be rwd and this has been done as publicity stunt as mazda dont have a concept car to show at the motor show...
