Some of you already know, but we are coming for a visit at the end of March, around Easter, from the North West group.

Just wanted to check if we need to carry anything by law in the car like they do if you go to France and the like.
Apparently they have to carry hi-viz vests and breathalyzer kits.

Hello Snowman ,do you have any idea about your route , what port are yoy using I assume its Dublin.Hope you have a great trip ,weather should be good, lets hope ayway!

This is what is planned so far for the trip so far.

Would be great if we could meet up along the way with anyone able to.

we are sailing on the hss (fast ferry) from holyhead at 10.30am arriving aprox 12.30pm,we are sailing into dun laoghaire therefore we do not have to drive through dublin, and we have all afternoon to drive to kilkenny aprox 90miles.

MONDAY 1/04/13 1 nights DBB accommodation at the http://www.castleoaks.ie HOTEL IN LIMERICK. (KILLARNEY – LIMERICK ) 65MILES.

TUES 2nd /04/13 DRIVE TO DUBLIN , 1 NIGHT DBB @ http://www.regencyhotels.com (LIMERICK – DUBLIN) 110 MILES

Wed 3rd /04/13 RETURN DUBLIN – HOLYHEAD

If anyone wants to come to any of the hotels or meet along the way, then it maybe an idea to let me know, then we know someone is coming.
If you want my mobile number, i will pm it to you.

I'm not sure what is planned for the days we are not travelling to the different hotels. Dont have the itinerary, just what i have already posted.

So far there are 19 cars coming, so i'm sure we will be spotted somewhere along the way...

Thats a big crowd ,I'll be away myself on these dates otherwise would try to meet up some where .
Would you consider starting a post on "runs and tech days" re good driving roads /meet ups . Not from these areas myself so am no good to you but i'm sure others would glad to help.
Hope the trip goes well,considering a trip to Wales and northern England myself sometime hear it's really nice with great roads.
