For those that dont run with hardtops

Due to the really nice weather recently i had my hardtop off for a few days. I noticed alot more flex and shake in the chassis with the hardtop removed.
Is this because im running coilovers or is it normal enough on a stock car.
What is the the best way to reduce the flex with the hardtop removed, i was considering making up a brace to go between the belt towers to see if it makes any differance.

There is a brace some 1.8 models as far as i know. If you could get one it might save you the hassle of making one.

its just going to flex more with the HT off, you just get used to it, seat belt tower brace is not really going to help much. A hardog and some chassis rails will stiffen it up.
