Rent an MX5 ?

I really want to get behind the wheel of a 5 again and im wonder is there any where in Ireland I can rent an MX5 ?

I don't see anyone renting mk1 or mk2.. Mk3's maybe. If I were you I'd buy and then sell it again.. Look out for one that you'll get your money back or in better case even make some! Good old polish definitely bump the value! I think that's your best bet..unless there's a friend who would loan you one.

Thanks, I see classic insurance is a very low price but that would restrict me to a MK1, right?

Yes it would, also, probably a good idea to find out about insurance before going any further. Not all companies happy to insure imports, not all would offer classic cover and some restrictions like must have daily driver, millage restrictions etc. If it's only for few days really don't see any problems why your existing insurance wouldn't cover temporarily (it's a step down from z after all!) get in touch with them, I'm sure they'll sort you out.

Get in touch with Robert (autocheck) as he could have a decent running car there or sometime in the future. Might come up with a good deal for both of you without spending lots of money. Best option for short time deal (rent).
