Hello all.. anyone know if the RX8 seats will fit into a 2002 Mk2.5?

I think Kieran (mx5ideways) on here has or had them in his mk2 so I don't see why wouldn't. Comfy enough seats but looks big and heavy on mx5 imo. Get in touch with him he'll know more about them.

Thanks Devis.. I came across a nice looking set on UK Ebay for reasonable money... worth a go I think If they fit. Certainly better than what I have as I find them to be very uncomfortable.

Keep an eye out for S2000 seats too

Ughhhh! Never seen or heard of s2000 ones! Looks good, very similar to rx8 just bit smaller I think. I like them. Wonder how low sitting position is? Having problems with my height.

The s2000 seats really look the business !
Would you not look for the 2.5 sport seats like out of an s-vt they will fit and are leather .

If I could find a set Brian I would be on them.. hens teeth for affordable money.

Robert gets them from time to time. Ask him to keep a look out for you , he has done this for me on a blue mohair roof,big brake set , better alloys , hard top etc so might be worth your while

Ok..went and bit the bullet and bought these today. I actually got them for silly money imo. They are in great condition, practically brand new.

They also came with the rear seats door cards etc. (Don't know what I'm going to do with those.
Now.. I just have to figure out how to fit them.

I have one on my sim racing rig. Can't remember exactly what's underneath but if there's a way to get existing rails off and swap them with mx5 that would be that easy..

Nice seats and good colour combo.. Will shut your car really well! Have you decided on what you going to do with your skirts etc..will you keep them on?

They will suit the car if I can get them in. Looking into it today and it's going to be a lot of work. Luckily I found a build thread somewhere so it gives me an idea.
Definitely keeping the skirts on as i think they make the car look better.
