SORTED: rear brake caliper rebuild kit or rear caliper 1998

Hi Folks,

Long time no speak, we're in trouble again.. rear brake caliper seems to be leaking around the park brake mechanism, would like to try a rebuild but a bit stuck for time to wait for a kit as Bernie needs the car so I said I'd chance on here if anyone has a rebuild kit they could sell/lend for a MK 2 1.6 standard brake..... or a left rear caliper. Thanks.

Appreciate that you've sorted this - but for anyone interested I've just rebuilt mine (albeit the big brake rear caliper if its different) too and sourced the seal kit for 20 pounds from MX5 parts. Think Autolink MX5 also do them.

The job itself is relatively painless - the cleaning is the most tedious part. There is guides on miata.net - specifically the youtube video guide is great. Heard a few people moan about needing the right circlip pliers but the Green Laser ones from Halfords are a perfect fit:
