Heading in to Athlone earlier and suddenly heard a LOUD BANG..... like a gun shot, but from inside the car. Had quick look round car (including the interior - well, you never know!). Found this on the windscreen. As above FFS..... GRRRR.






Need to go check insurance - doesn't look repairable to me (hope windscreen cover is included. (it's (thankfully) nowhere near the line of vision, but I'm sure the screen will need replacing).

If you havent windscreen cover ring them up and get it put on then just wait a couple of weeks before you claim

Remember reading about autolux in Galway replacing a na windscreen , the owner / author was very happy with the job as they also fitted newer type glass & bead, can't find the article now, http://autolux.ie/

Looked out the insurance details and thankfully windscreen cover is included. Will call them tomorrow and see how things pan out.

yep, Autolux did mine too, think they offered me green (Eunos) or Blue (MX5) tint also.

Latest update.... window is being ordered (and as above, Steve, they offered blue or green tint). It's through a company in Galway called Mister Windscreen!

Will let you know how things progress.
