Seriously love these seats, came in the limited edition mk1 mx5 RS.
Only 500 ever made, so rare as hens teeth!
Would love a set, but can't begin to justify the $3500 price tag on these.
Seen a few posts on UK forums of them going for £800 - £1000 but all from 4 or 5 years ago!
Just curious is anyone in Ireland running them?!
Any of ye seen any sets go up for sale recently? What sort of euros are they making these days?

Why not get set from say Suzuki Swift GTI or similar small car with Recaro,s.

Hi Deco I have a MK1 RS with a set of the Recaros, they are very comfortable with great support and are as light as a feather.

You will be doing well to pick up a set in Ireland unless you get a set out of a RX7, I don't know how many RX7'S were fitted with these though, maybe give the guys on the RX7 club a shout.

Another suggestion if you request a set in the wanted section on Nutz you might get lucky.

I have my RS off the road for the winter now and she is up the north, next spring/summer I will have her in Galway if you want to have a look at them.

cos I'm a purist!
If I was to go with different seats besides the RS Recaro's I'd go with Sparco Sprints or Bride Low Max - although the brides are mad expensive!

I'm very jelous of you Gasha! I'm half tempted to offer to buy them off ya but to be honest I'd hate to see them taken from a genuine RS,would be be a shame, an original spec RS is rare enough as it is! Its like all the people that were breaking ek9 and eg6 civics back in the day and now we wonder why there's feck all good ones left! Having said that, first dibs if ya do ever decide to sell! I'm a hypocrite...sue me!

Have you looked into elise/exige seats? Common mx5 conversion, similar shape, looks good too!

Devis makes a good point ,the Elise seats look great in the mx5 and they are comfortable .
They come up on nutz from time to time
