The owner of this was an older lady that had this imported from the US to the UK. It was originally a different colour but she had it painted in yellow.

Not really Pops. After three weeks it was pretty tough and chewy. Oh well, I'll just have to slip out for another one..... :)

That yellow 5 looks very nice , some colors work on some cars but could you imagine pulling into your driveway in anything in that color other than a mx5

Some really nice looking pieces of metal there - if only every trip to the shops involved that amount of eye candy.

I love the slab-sided triumphs. I think they have the wheel size to body height ratio spot on. And I think the citroen is gorgeous, and timeless. That's an old car that still looks futuristi (but like Len, wouldn't risk my own money on one). And are the helicopters Chinooks - when I was younger I was really taken with the twin rotors.

100% agreed on the colour Pops, no many cars can pull that colour off. That lady that owned it completely loved the car. I was sitting outside drinking coffee when she was getting into it. I commented: "Nice car !" but she wasn't very engaging until I mentioned that I have one too. I was just another pesky biker until then !!

I knew the helicopter were Chinooks from my Airfix making days ! As it was in Germany, I was trying to figure out whether they were U.S. or German. I couldn't zoom in enough though !

As for the Citroen, you should have seen the space in the interior - it was massive. I bet that thing does ride like a magic carpet with the hydro pneumatic suspesion. I had three Xantia's in my time and they were excellent. Especially the HDI model. They did produce some weird and amazing cars. Such a unique manufacturer. There's a Citroen museum near Dignes-les-Bains in France. I highly recommend it if any of you are ever in the area.

The TR6 was Portuguese, if I remember rightly. It was in as new condition. I spotted it near Calais on the way home. Last year, in the exact same spot, there was a classic Mini run !
