Carcoon outdoor cover

Postby Brian1 » Fri, 04 Oct 2019 4:56 +0000

Hi all, has anyone tried one of these covers which basically involve encapsulating the car in a bubble with some kind of dehumidifyer working. It also keeps the battery charged ,they look to be very expensive but I dont have a garage. I am currently using a coverzone stormforce cover which set me back about 150 euros with postage, this is my second one as the first only lasted a year despite having a 2 year warranty!

I must say that I don't have or know anyone that has one but if you've got the space for the carcoon why not build a garage instead.
What are you trying to cover?

A carcoon can go on a driveway infront of your house, where a garage wouldnt.
They cost way less than a garage
The op might be renting where he lives

I don't have one but know someone who does and they swear by it.
