Convertibles

Went for a small spin around connemara, within the first two minutes I saw a BMW but the roof was up, over the 100km I travelled I saw such a variety of convertibles all with the roof down, a very nice merc sl, a opel astra twin top, tigra, an older astra, vw beetle, triumph spitfire, porsche boxter and a saab.
Also had a lotus evora gt sport (had to do a Reg check) following me for a few miles, hopefully the weather will last for a while so that I can travel a bit further
Sun's out so time to make use of it

Just been to the shop 1/2 mile away and saw two more convertibles, a Toyota celica and another saab, must be something in the air today to see so many of them

Today's trip was a different part of connemara. Oughterard, maam cross, maam, Leenaun, killary and around by Kylemore Abbey towards letterfrack then on to clifden and back by the n59, lots of tourists and cyclist's not to mention the road works.
Plenty more convertibles today, anything from a Nissan micra convertible to a zv reg Mercedes including a fairly new looking 3 series BMW.
Waiting at the road works at maam Cross along came the first mx5 I've seen this weekend, I heard it before I saw it but a nice looking blue one with all the spoilers etc and between there and galway I saw another two mx5's, great to see such a variety of convertibles

Met two more today, both were mk2 mx5's, black one that flashed at me between screeb and costelloe, and a silver one on the Moycullen Road, big difference in the type of traffic today compared to the weekend, lots more vans & trucks but less bicycles
