Misfire

Car seemed to be a bit sluggish at times, one thing that's in the mind is that the cat might be a bit clogged because I think it sounds like air whooshing at times but I thought it better to start on the easy stuff first. New plugs were fitted already so they were ruled out, next was to test the plug leads which found the first problem
number 3, very corroded and failed the resistance test Image
All cleaned as best as possible and resistance test passed by all, also the coils were in a very poor state, used a wire brush on the dremmel and cleaned up pretty well ImageImageImageImage

Another thing I did was a diagnostic test, fault number 17 came up, no signal change from 02 sensor, I had replaced the sensor last year but never thought of resetting the error codes, disconnected the battery for a few minutes to clear the codes. Short run out the road and driving much better, did the diagnostic test again and no faults so happy days againImage
