So what do you do to earn money for your 5?

Postby mx5ash » Thu, 31 Jul 2008 11:45 +0000

After cloggys post re the promo material thought it would be interesting to know what everyone does for a living, you never know you might be able to help another member with something (but probably not me!!)

I am a fresh food development manager for a group of 5 Centra stores. Basically I develop new products/ranges, train the staff, marketing/branding of the freshfoods side of things, set up new systems for production and most of all try to make sure we makes the monies.

So what do you do?

Senior Sales, Marketing & Organisational Analyst.
Set departmental financial budgets, maximize departmental efficiency and effectiveness, analyse current sales & marketing projects, recommend and roll-out new strategies/projects, stock control, project specific Dbase & web design & development for internal reporting and data presentation.

Bottom line: A lot of number crunching through computer stuff.

I'm a final year student studying in DCU doing Software Engineering. I work part-time as programmer for a company that does fleet management, Tracking and analyzing productivity of fleets (trucks and car). At the moment I'm working in AIB Internet Business Banking for 5 months. finishing at the end of the month. So nothing exciting. But willing to help anyone with computer problems. :D :D :D

I work in IBM and I'm the Team lead for the technicians who run the hardware IBM servers before they go out to the customer.

I look after the running of the floor and the systems that we do. I also consult with the hierachy regarding the orders in test.

Wow is that all my job is two or 3 lines!!!
