Installed frame rail reenforcment.. had high expectations for this, it makes a BIG difference, car is much more solid, more confidence in corners, no more crashiness, can really feel the suspension working now, would recommend!

looking good steve! Hard to fit?
nah, just time consuming.. seats out, lift carpet, drill holes, move brake+fuel lines, bolt 'em up. Then of course you find 10 other jobs along the way to do
Might look into having some made for others..
Installed my new 'four eyes' today, turned out REALLY sweet
Didn't like taking a drill and an angle grinder to the car though. I'll be putting up a post soon as the 'belated project' has finally started, everything is going on the car in the next few days
I've decided to install all the body work first, then do the engine stuff later.
It's to cold at the moment to give it a full paint job and I don't have a large enough garage to put it into for painting it so......I'm gonna rattle can the panels/bonet/boot spoiler for the moment and give it a full repaint later in the year when the weather warms up I've found 3 tins of the stuff I used on my mud guards (which were black when I got them) and its a VERY close match with the Mazda Silverstone. It's going to be a different colour later in the year anyway so I don't really care about the colour right now. Lets just get those parts on it and see what happens
Ok I decided to test out the paint again just to remember how good the stuff was as I did the mud guards such a long time ago.
So I gave the boot spoiler a quick wet sanding, hosed it down, dryed it off, used some 'pri-spray' wipes on it just to be sure, got a tac cloth on it and then gave it a quick 1st coat....... and put it into the kitchen to dry - nice and warm in there after spraying it outside in the cold night air I have to say it again, the stuff is bloody AWESOME !! I suppose I should start the thread now but I'm lazy about having to load up all the pics each day
