Hi all,

I'm heading down to see the boats in the volvo ocean race - great round the world sailing race, we have a boat, but we need somewhere to launch it & tie it up for a weekend in May. Don't mind paying for it, any contacts that you know of?

Pete - have few contacts in Galway in the sailing fraternity - what boat you bringing down?
I'm signed up as volunteer for the event, but no assigned duties or such yet. I'd hope to get a water-based job ideally (day-replacement helm on Green Dragon would do nicely )

It's just a RIB about 20ft, we just thought it would be easier to bring it with us & get out on the water to see the inport races, we need somewhere to launch it & tie up for the weekend, we can take care of it all ourselves.

Hi, I'm out between Bearna and Spiddal, there are a few launch points between. I've a bout have an acre of a stone drive way, would take a few boats no problem! Plus my next door neighbour has a rib as well, so there must be a launch site close. If ur in Galway on the run, I'll show you around.
