Getting rid of SpotsOk folks,

Re: Getting rid of SpotsWhy do you need to remove them Rob?
Re: Getting rid of SpotsYou could just send her thru "as is" and see what happens?
Re: Getting rid of SpotsUnless they are wired to the headlights in some way i would say leave em connected. They won't test them i don't think. When I took mine in and i forgot to turn them off before handing over the keys. Nothing mentioned.
If you do need to remove them then easiest way wold be locate the switch and pull the wires from the back (taping them up of course) that or take out the bulbs. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3099765 "When I make a key the on position and push the button, an engine works"
Re: Getting rid of SpotsHI robin,
Ive had lots of experience with nct due to the emissions problem that i was having with my five. and i had spots that were wired up to the headlights. The only thing they asked me to do was to put some installation tape around the wires which i should have done anyway Other than that they never said nowt about them. One other thing as everyone has mentioned if you have the red reflectors on your bumper take them off or put black tape over them or them will fail you for that. Check the rubbers on your pedals to make sure there not worn away, ummm everything should be cosure with your baby. Hope this helps more bounce per ounce

Re: Getting rid of SpotsThanks lads - I just remember reading somewhere (can't remember where) that non-standard spots could be a fail on the nct - mine are not wired to the headlights - on a different switch - so can have them on without any other lights - looks good - but no sure if road legal
As Ollie suggests - think I will book it in and say nought - Cheers Robin
