Ken, you interested in taking Seans place with us in the paddock? I remind you, any track driving involved, if at all, is purely for display and is totally optional .

Meet in B&Q , as detailed, 8am

Hi Everybody..Update on japfest.

We got washed out, so we abandoned ship at 2:30 while we still had some dry clothes.A pity that the weather gods didn't smile on us, but we had a good laugh, as we always do.
My Gazebo nearly took off several times, so we took that down, headed for the bar..which wasn't selling ANY beer ( Boooo!!) and took stock of the situation. There was some interesting cars and events going on, but the rain meant that many of them could not really function at top form.
Paschal, while leaving the paddock and crossing the main track, decided to give the stewards a heart attack by heading off towards turn 1, the Honda Corner, before turning around sharpish-like to rejoin the exodus!!!

Many thanks to all who turned up, again..sorry about the weather.
#Thanks also to Mazda for sponsoring our attendance, let's hope it's the beginning of a fruitful relationship between ourselves and them!

My memory card was full, so I didn't take any pics..i'm sure there will be a few posted here soon.

Finally, a special word of thanks to PJ and Dylan who travelled up last night from Galway and to Shadowearth who turned up from Mallow about 20 minutes before we decided to bail out

It was just too wet - back home to the fire, newspaper and a glass of rouge
