Good work Gents!
Re: Mx5 heart transplant.heh, I was there around 10.30am and only got to swing a spanner for a few mins before I'd to head for Galiamh. I believe he is back on the road now.
Re: Mx5 heart transplant.Yep thanks to everyone especially Pat for the big help couldn't have done it without you guys.
When we left. We forgot the Speedo cable. Exhaust was leaking and the Oil pressure switch was the wrong type but other than that she's happy again. Now I've to start making a sump guard for her! Oh does anyone have have a Rad for sale? Having an NA engine again isn't bad. Forgot how much I missed dropping gears and letting her sit at 5000 on the country roads. With the turbo it's too much, you want to sit lower in the revs to reduce the torque.
Re: Mx5 heart transplant. No problem good to get my hands dirty again, BTW check the bonnet bolts, all the best.
