We are going to rent out our 'old' house - a dormer bungalow - near Craughwell/Athenry, to interested parties.
Located in a quiet rural location, 5 mins off J17 of the shiney new M6 at Athenry, it is also accessible from the old N6 at Craughwell. Travel time from M50 is about 1:45hrs
With a flexible mix of rooms and beds, it has 2 double rooms, and 3 singles, with possibility to mix/match. Ideal for families with kids as well - and yes, you can bring the pet(s).
No shortage of parking, and if you bring something special, secure indoor parking can be made available as well - just let me know, to arrange.
Spacious dining, sitting and large lounge as well, so no problem in people having their 'own' space, either !
Nice garden, and outdoor patio - if you want to have your own barbecue etc.
It's an ideal base for sorties to all points West, as well as South (to the Burren), and on the new M6 is only 15 mins to edge of Galway City. The main Galway-Dublin rail line is also close, as is the new Athenry - Limerick railway.
Would make, I suggest, a nice base for: Galway Races, Galway Arts Festival, Film Fleadh, Cúirt, Baboró, or just a relaxing time - for a few days/week/whatever.
I'm deliberately targeting petrolheads like ourselves, who may not always get the chance to holiday AND bring their toy(s) to play with.
