I am currently in the same boat looking for a LHD head light for MK2 - did you get sorted and if so what was the damage, as I am struggling a wee bit.

The lens on the light is cracked and water is getting into the unit, the advice given that if I want to get the car passed the NCT a sealed unit is required.

I have one, €75....mx5parts new £200 plus, but I won't be able to get it until I get back from the Spanish F1 trip on 29th.
