Crystal ball gazing for snow

So, did anyone make plans for this winter? Winter tyres? Chancing it? Parking it? I might chance it that if it does snow it won't stay for long so I'll get over with bus/working from home. Having said that I have been eyeing some winter tyres but I can't be bothered with the cost and effort (getting wheels etc) for one week of snow.
